Quinshon Judkins arrested for Domestic Violence, battery charge
The former Ohio State standout and current Browns running back faces legal trouble.
Former Ohio State standout and current Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on charges of domestic violence and battery, according to Broward County arrest records.
The arrest report lists the charge as “touch or strike/battery/domestic violence.” As of Saturday evening, Judkins remained in custody without bond. He is scheduled to appear before a judge Sunday morning for an initial court hearing, per ESPN.
A spokesperson for the Cleveland Browns said the team is “aware and gathering more details.”
Judkins played a critical role for the Buckeyes last season, leading the team with 1,060 rushing yards and tying for the team lead with 16 touchdowns during Ohio State’s run to the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The Browns selected Judkins with the 36th overall pick in April’s NFL Draft. He remains the only member of the team’s 2025 draft class who has not yet signed his rookie contract.
Below is a report from WPLG based in South Florida.
According to CBS News Miami, a judge set Judkins bond at $2,500 on a misdemeanor charge of battery. The running back has been released from police custody and has been ordered not to contact the alleged victim or possess firearms.
The NFL may pursue potential discipline under the league’s personal conduct policy.
