The Columbus Blue Jackets downed the Buffalo Sabres 5-1 yesterday afternoon, thwarting the visitors’ 10-game winning streak in the process.
Blue Jackets goalie Jet Greaves made 32 saves while defensemen Damon Severson and Zach Werenski logged two assists apiece.
Denton Mateychuk, Brendan Gaunce, Dmitri Voronkov, Mathieu Olivier, and Cole Sillinger all tickled the twine in the victory.
