How to watch: United States vs. Australia in the FIFA World Cup
It’s been a week since the United States Men’s National Team began its 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Paraguay. Now, the Stars and Stripes head to the Pacific Northwest for their second group-stage match against Australia.
The U.S. got the scoring started in its opening match thanks to a Paraguay own goal before Folarin Balogun netted a brace and Gio Reyna punctuated the victory with a stunning outside-of-the-boot golazo. The win moved the Americans to the top of Group D alongside Australia.
The Socceroos enter the second matchday following a 2-0 victory over Türkiye. Nestory Irankunda and Connor Metcalfe found the back of the net, while goalkeeper Patrick Beach recorded a clean sheet as Australia opened its World Cup campaign with three points.
