How to watch the Columbus Blue Jackets on television on your personal device
A new year, so where do you find the CBJ?
The Jackets enter Monday’s matchup against the New Jersey Devils with a 1–1–0 record, coming off a 7–4 road victory over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.
If you can’t make it downtown for the home opener, you might be wondering how to catch the action from home. Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered.
How to Watch the Blue Jackets
Outside of nationally televised games on ESPN or TNT, Blue Jackets broadcasts can be found on FanDuel Sports Network (FDSN). Unfortunately, if you’ve cut the cord like me, accessing that channel isn’t as simple as flipping on the TV — FDSN currently doesn’t have a streaming agreement with my provider YouTube TV.
That said, there are still a few ways to tune in:
FanDuel Sports Network Subscription
You can subscribe directly through the FanDuel app or website, choosing a season pass, monthly plan, or annual package. In the Columbus area, this also grants access to Cleveland Cavaliers games and, depending on your plan, Cincinnati Reds broadcasts as well.Add FanDuel to Amazon Prime Video
FanDuel Sports Network is also available as an add-on channel through Prime Video, allowing you to stream games right from your Amazon account.Traditional Cable or Satellite TV
If you still have cable, you can watch the game the old-fashioned way — or use your provider’s online app to stream it digitally.ESPN+ / ESPN Select
Fans living outside the Blue Jackets’ broadcast region can watch via ESPN+ (now branded as ESPN Select), which carries out-of-market games.
Got all that information? Good! Don’t miss the Blue Jackets when the puck drops from Nationwide Arena tonight at 7 PM.
