Aviators head coach Ted Ginn charged with DUI ahead of matchup in Dallas
Columbus will be without its head coach on Sunday
Just one day before his team was scheduled to play the Dallas Renegades, Aviators head coach Ted Ginn Jr. was arrested for DUI. The arrest was made in Tarrant County, Texas on Saturday afternoon. Ginn was released on $1,000 bond.
UFL President and CEO Russ Brandon shared this statement after the arrest.
“We are aware of an incident involving Head Coach Ted Ginn Jr. over the weekend and are in the process of gathering more information. Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley will handle the head coaching duties for the Aviators game on Sunday.”
Columbus kicks off against Dallas at 12 PM and the game can be seen on ABC.
